Have lived across the U.S. In addition to several places of residence in the West, my husband and I lived for 30 years in Northern Virginia (Great Falls, next to Langley). I worked as a first- and second-grade teacher for most of our time in Virginia, while my husband was an attorney.
I received my teaching degree from the University of Tulsa, where my husband and I started married life and where our daughter was born. My husband graduated from BYU and the University of Utah. Our daughter Elizabeth followed in his footsteps and graduated from both universities, wisely obtaining an M.D. at the U instead of a J.D.
